Inspect before starting the work
Checks reads the selected project’s readiness without creating test files, executing project code or staging a commit. It helps you identify the setup step that the intended task needs.
Act on the reported state
Ready, Limited and Blocked describe capability availability. A detailed item and recommended next step are more useful than treating every Limited result as a broken project.
Respect intentional limits
A read-only project can be suitable for analysis even when editing is unavailable. Enable only the capability required for the current task and rerun readiness after relevant setup changes.
Use actual verification for the result
After preflight, run the appropriate build/test in Commands, inspect the recorded result and review the intended Git changes. A readiness badge and a successful test provide different evidence.
