Verify your download
Each release publishes RepoTunnel-SHA256SUMS.txt. Verify the package you downloaded before installation, especially when your operating system shows a trust warning.
After installation
- Open RepoTunnel.
- Add an existing local project or clone a repository.
- Choose read-only/read-write access and AI Review or AI Auto.
- Configure a supported public MCP connection.
- Connect your AI client and verify the full path with a real RepoTunnel tool call.
Optional ChatGPT continuation extension
RepoTunnel Continuation can deliver authorized checkpoints to exact saved ChatGPT conversations. It is optional and is loaded unpacked in a compatible Chromium browser from extensions/chatgpt-continuation on the project’s main branch.
The v0.4.1 desktop release does not publish a separate extension asset. Keep RepoTunnel running locally, follow the source installation steps and save only the chats you want it to continue.
