Why cursors matter
RepoTunnel ties cursors to relevant source/search state and invalidates them when underlying state changes instead of silently continuing against stale content.
A practical exploration sequence
Start with list_workspaces and get_workflow_readiness, then inspect_project_page for a paged file tree. Use fast_search_files to locate relevant terms and read_file_range to fetch only the lines you need.
This reduces repeated full scans and avoids flooding the AI conversation with generated dependencies and unrelated project files.

Broad scanning honors .gitignore/.ignore and skips dependency, cache, build, symbolic-link and known secret paths. The index is for relevance and performance; access.rs remains the actual filesystem security boundary.
An explicit file request is still evaluated against the workspace access guard, even when the index has previously shown that path.
